6/16/16 Sheehan s 6-foot-2 185-pounds with an athletic, strong frame. Throws from a 3/4 arm slot with arm side run on his fastball that sat 86-88 the whole outing. Showcased a 1-to-7 breaking ball at 69-71 MPH. Has a long, loose arm showing little effort, Sheehan showed everyone at the event why he is one of the top 2017 arms to look for next year.
3/15/16 - A gifted athlete like his brother Jack (also a Notre Dame commit), Tom Sheehan utilizes his athleticism well on the mound. The big left-hander runs his fastball up to 88 MPH and bears down on hitters from a solid 6-foot-3 frame that also allows him to be a big basketball player on a great Manasquan team. He is an intense competitor who works with a 3-pitch mix that includes a fastball, curve, and change-up. Expect more good things to come from Sheehan this season, especially late in the year as the rust from a deep state tournament basketball run wears off.
