2019 Preseason All State showcase

Iona recruit. Grace has a wiry and athletic frame at 6-foot-4, 190-pounds. Sets up on the mound with his feet narrow on the right side of the rubber. Long, loose, whippy arm action. True 3/4 arm slot. Engages his lower half early and generates power from it. Positive shin angle. Stride direction stays on line. Uphill shoulder tilt. Fastball comes at you from a tough angle, hard to pick up. FB sat at 87-88 MPH, touching 89 MPH. Curveball had sweeping action across the zone at 74-75 MPH.

Preseason All State Showcase (February 10th, 2018)
Grace has a lean, lanky-athletic frame at 6-foot-4 190-pounds with a projectable, prototypical pitcher's build. Grace was one of the top performers from the event, and will be one of the top newcomers to the rankings when they are updated. Fastball topped at 87 MPH and sat consistently at 86-87 MPH with late armside movement. Separated himself with command and shape of his curveball – a sharp 1/7 breaker that he can use as a strikeout pitch. Also flashed a changeup at 77-78 with armside run and sink. Grace has a long, loose arm action from a true-3/4 slot. Stiff, strong landing foot and leg on finish. Lands slightly across body and will finish toward third base side of the rubber. High riser in the 2019 NJ State Rankings.
