6-foot-1, 195-pound sturdy frame. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 7.6. Began in a tall quiet stance with a smooth controlled load, then used a leg kick before his swing. Bat speed was explosive, displayed uphill swing plane and good extension on his finish. Found multiple barrels with tons of loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Toneske's 97 mph exit velocity showed his ability to drive the ball with power. While in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 75 mph; showed a clean exchange, athletic feet and sure hands. Used a quick arm action and a high ¾ slot while showing consistent accuracy to the bag.
6-foot, 195-pound solid frame. At the plate, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 88 mph. Starts in an open stance with a big load, then uses a long stride before his swing. Shows a flat swing plane and high finish. Pull side approach. In the infield, his best throw was recorded at 77 mph across the field; had sure hands and a clean exchange. Used a short arm action and a high ¾ slot. He recorded a 60 time of 7.72 at the event.
