5-foot-10, 160-pound projectable frame. During batting practice, O'neill clocked an exit velocity of 87 mph. In the infield, his best throw was registered at 84 mph. During the event, recorded a 60 time of 7.5. Projectable on the mound, used a loose arm action with a high ¾ arm angle while showing quick arm speed. Uses easy effort in his delivery. In his delivery his balance point is tall with uphill shoulders. Lands square with an athletic finish. Sat with his fastball at 80-83 mph and topped out at 84 mph; shows arm side control and late action. Throws a 11/5 curveball (68-71) that has tight action and glove side command. Projectable on the mound and shows some pitchability with offspeed.

Oneill has an athletic build at 5-foot-7 13-pounds with room to add muscle. At the plate, starts in a tall, wide stance with hands above back shoulder. As pitch comes in, uses a small leg lift and stride to start swing while hands load down and back slightly. Foundation is there, more pop to come as he gets stronger. Uphill swing and balance throughout finish. In the field, hands are clean and glove exchange is quick and easy. Stood out with his ability to change arm slots on the run and make an accurate throw to the bag. Ball jumps out of hand with some carry at 78 MPH, which was one of the highest infield velocities for his grade. On the mound, fastball topped at 74 MPH and sat mostly 72-73. Also flashed a breaking ball at 61-63 MPH. Strong, athletic balance point with uphill shoulders going down the mound. Strong, firm landing leg and finishes over front foot with extension on finish. More velocity to come as he gets stronger.

O'Neill has an athletic 5-foot-8, 145-pound frame. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 73 mph. Has a quick load and uses a short stride.  While in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 82 mph; had soft hands, quick feet and a clean exchange. Showed a consistent arm action and accuracy to the bag. He recorded a time of 7.91 in the 60-yard dash. On the mound, he has a long arm action and a H-3/4 arm angle. He is a tall-and-fall type pitcher. He showed the ability to locate his curveball for a strike at 68-70 mph;  has some 11/5 action and locates curveball. He located his changeup for a strike at 74 mph; and showed fading action. He produced a fastball that came in at 77-78 mph.
