A fastball with hop has a flat approach angle and visually jumps through the zone. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher swing and miss average. Hop+ of 100 is MLB average.

Have seen steady improvement over the last 8 months with Bryce since his last event until now. Also have seen him pitch twice this summer for his CBA Summit '23 team as a 2024 grad. The delivery is going to repeat in time, as he matures, fills out and continues to get stronger. Throws a fair amount of K's for a young 15 yr old from a small town HS. The arm is loose and fluid and projects as he gets older. The FB 78-81 should see a jump of 3-4 mphs by the end of the calendar year. Shows depth and spin to the CB with proper shape, just needs added arm strength and tightening in time. This is an arm and body, that a year from now, we will be talking about big jumps in his data, as he continues to mature, as we know there are huge strides between the freshman and soph years. Definitely keep and eye on this kid.
