12/8/18 - Lean, 5-foot-9, 125, Davis has lots of room for growth. Weight and strength gains will be imperative to his velocity progression. At first base, he is athletic with instincts for the position in feeds and footwork around the bag. At he plate, he has a backside driven swing. His approach is ahead of his current stature as he relies on strength over bat speed at the plate. On the mound, he is presently a consummate soft left-hander. He has solid feel for all three of his pitches and solid area command. He maintains good pitch definition in spite of present lack of velocity.
