Offensively: LHH. Wider, bent stance, as the hands start slotted just above the shoulder. Utilized a toe-tap stride to initiate a flat, on-plane path into the hitting zone towards a whippy finish. Maintained a middle of the field approach with balance in legs; recorded T92MPH exit and 87MPH AVG.
Defensively: The primary outfielder worked over the front side with a downhill attack. Clean reads off the barrel with choppy footwork, pulled down at 84MPH from H3/4 slot.
Physical: 5-foot-10, 155 pounds; Athletic, lean build. 7.21 runner in the 60.
Offensively: LHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; bat positioned at a 45 degree angle. Short take back with the hands with a toe-tap for timing. Slides weight forward pre-contact. while showing a strong lower half. Showed a flat swing path with a one-handed finish. More groundballs than line drives and flyballs with a peak exit velocity of 91 MPH via Trackman. Pretty left-handed swing enters and remains on pitch plane for a lot of the swing. Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Showed a short swing path with a late one hand finish. More line drives than fly balls and ground balls with a peak exit velocity of 87 MPH via Trackman. Feel for the barrel with a high on plane score.
Defensively: Starts with a balanced setup; uses prep hop while playing low to the ground. Hands are soft while funneling to the hip before transfer. Moderate arm circle while using various arm slots. INF - 74 MPH.
