Game Performance

Notes

Comments

6/26/23

Physical: 5-11, 167 pounds; Athletic, lean build. 6.61 runner in the 60.

Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet wide spread; flat bat to start. Drops hands on the way back with an up and down stride for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Showed a compact swing path with a two handed finish.  More groundballs than line drives and flyballs with a peak exit velocity of 86 MPH via Trackman.

Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; walks into ready position while showing active feet. Hands are out in front with a clean transfer. Moderate arm circle from a high 3/4 arm slot. INF - 84 MPH.

9/19/20

Physical: Long and lean 5-foot-7, 115-pound frame with room to add strength as he matures. 7.78 runner in the 60-yard dash. Offensively: RHH. Tall, open stance with the hands starting above the shoulder with controlled rhythm in the setup. Utilized a quick lift and replace stride to initiate the hands through a flat path and into the hitting zone. Demonstrated an adjustable lower half which dominated the swing repeatedly getting under the baseball and into a power position. The hands matched pitch plane early and often creating a fly ball approach through the middle of the field, hit into a soft front side while recording a peak bat-exit velocity of 70 mph according to Trackman Baseball, 226 foot maximum batted ball distance during his round. A 19.3 mph top hand speed at the plate per Blast Baseball emphasizes that there is some twitch in there. Defensively: The primary middle infielder featured active footwork with a feel for getting downhill towards the baseball, created moderate momentum towards the target on the approach while fielding off of the middle-left side of his body using a medium center of gravity. Stood up after corralling the ball at the fielding window making the throw all arm across the diamond, used an accurate high ¾ slot. Projects the best at 2B until he matures more physically, the actions have potential. INF - 60 mph
