6/27/22

Physical: 6-foot-0, 195 pounds; Athletic, sturdy build. 7.26 runner in the 60.

Offensively: LHH. Even setup, with feet wide spread; has a pre-pitch bat waggle. Loads straight back with an up and down stride for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Showed a flat swing path with a two handed finish.  More groundballs than line drives and flyballs with a peak exit velocity of 91 MPH via Trackman. consistent solid contact.

6/30/21

Physical: Strong, high-waisted, and durable 5-foot-11, 180lb frame with some projection. 7.38 runner in the 60-yard dash.

Offensively: LHH - Started from a wider, balanced stance outside shoulder-width as the hands operated with calm rhythm on the shoulder. Utilized a knee-knock stride to get directional, initiating the bat head through a smooth, slightly uphill path into the hitting zone. Medium intent during his round, consistently finding the barrel at the front of the plate to pull with feel for the top hand. Recorded a 40% fly ball rate with some loft in the approach, staying over the backside with good sequencing. Notched a T84 mph bat-exit velocity with doubles power available.

Defensively: The corner outfielder chopped his feet quietly with some momentum over the front side while fielding off his left; funneled cleanly and shuffled in-line with moderate tempo to the target (H ¾ release, 78 mph arm, accurate).
