Physical: 5-10, 138-pounds. Long, lean projectable frame. 7.25 Pitching: Works with a slow deliberate pace; fundamental, repeatable delivery with a leg lift to the waist, shorter stride in line with a flat back, balanced follow through. Long arm action with no restrictions to a 3/4 slot. FB: T79, 76-78 MPH. Commands the zone with arm side run. CB: 67-69 MPH. Sharp 1-7 break with depth. CH: 75-76 MPH. Firm with arm side run.
2/22/19
A lean 5-foot-9, 138 pounds frame. Ran a 7.30 in the 60 yard dash. Offensively- the left handed hitter stands in the box with a tall stance and slightly open to the pitcher. Simple load and quick to the bat path. Flat barrel through the zone. Could use more leg drive and extension. Exit velocity was 77 MPH. Pitching- The left handed pitcher displayed a repeatable delivery and project arm. Uses a high knee lift before working downhill. Balanced throughout the delivery. Good use of a balanced backside. FB peaked at 78 MPH. CB ranged from 67-69 MPH with late downward break. Feel for a CH at 71-74 MPH. The 2021 graduate has tons of upside.
10/28/18
Athletic frame with sloped upper body. Lean, developing build at 5-foot-9, 128-pounds. Pitching – Smooth pitching delivery with consistent pace/tempo. Controlled, balanced leg lift. Smooth, projectable arm action with loose, whippy finish. Ball jumps out of hand from 3/4 release point. Quality hand speed on all offerings. Finishes over firm front leg with extension. Head remains still throughout. Quality 3-pitch mix which features sharp breaking CB.
