August 22/23, 2015
Observed at Bloomsburg University (PA) tournament. Contact hitter at the plate who doesn't chase. Works out tough at bats.

CNY Open Showcase (July 15, 2015)
Stands at 6-foot-2, 155 pounds, with a lean athletic body build.  Andrew ran a 7.23 60-yd dash.  Defensively- He has nice approach through the ball, with smooth, soft hands, throws with a high 3/4 arm action, plays through the ball nicely and has accuracy on the target.  His arm strength was at 70 MPH.  Offensively At the plate his setup is relaxed and balanced stance, short stride, with a short back load.  His hands are very compact and strong, swinging with a little uphill tilt, and has high finish with nice extension through the ball.  His exit velocity was 70 MPH.  Andrew is a player who shows potential to progress to the next level in college.

Individual Player Evalulation (June 17, 2015)

Andrew has a classic pitcher's frame with long arms and legs and room for 30-40 pounds to be added on. Is able to repeat his delivery with his 1:30 arm slot and work down hill with his fastball. Curveball features some 12-6 action and change showed some late sink. Once Andrew gets into his body, look for substantial velocity gains. Tends to open up front side and collapse front knee but has the mechanical base to work from. Look for substantial velocity gains as he gets into his body.
As a position player he tracks the ball well with a proper crowhop was able to show some carry on his throws that for the most part stayed online. At 3B he can be a little stiff with his movements, letting the hands get underneath. Did demonstrate good footwork and a serviceable arm though. Andrew is a contact hitter at the plate that can benefit from increased explosion through the ball. Tends to drop bat angle into his body and push through. Room for development here within the bat plane department and through his finish. Long term projectability would be higher on the mound as he may be a late bloomer.
