Physical: 6-2, 185 pounds; Athletic, slight build. 6.88 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; has a pre-pitch bat waggle. Drops hands on the way back with an up and down stride for timing. Drifts into contact while showing an aggressive lower half. Showed a moderate swing path with a one-handed finish. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 92 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with a low to the ground setup; uses prep hop while sitting back. Hands are out in front while funneling to the hip before transfer. Short take back from a standard 3/4 arm slot. INF - 81 MPH.
Pitching: Uses a glove side setup while using a side step. Belt high leg drive with a slight lean over the belt. Has a long stride landing inline with the plate. Moderate arm swing while arm stays in line with 2B; standard 3/4 slot. Square to the plate with finish. FB: Peak velo of 82 MPH, while sitting 78-81 MPH; commands both sides. CB: 64-67 MPH; late action.
Physical: 6-foot-2, 185 pounds; Long, slender build. 7.41 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Open setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; flat bat to start. Short take back with the hands with an up and down stride for timing. Slides weight forward pre-contact. while showing a strong lower half. Showed a swing path that gets around the ball with a two handed finish. More flyballs than line drives and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 91 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; uses prep step while playing low to the ground. Hands are underneath the body while funneling to the hip before transfer. Moderate arm circle from a low 3/4 arm slot. INF - 83 MPH.
Physical: Well put-together, high-waisted 6-foot, 185-pound frame with strength in the actions. 7.80 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - The righty begins from a balanced, slightly open stance with the hands showing rhythm high by the ear; utilized a controlled leg lift stride in order to initiate the bat head through a flat, high intent path into the hitting zone. Ambushed the pitch above the belt with lift after contact, creating some of the hardest hit balls of his round to the LF side (pull approach). Notched an 88 mph bat-exit velocity per Trackman Baseball yielding a 25% line drive rate, tight turns and quick hands at the plate (20+ mph hand speed on average) pointing towards an interesting ceiling down the line, as he continues refinement. A 55% on-plane efficiency suggests that the bat to ball skills are only going to get better.
Defensively: The shortstop featured average footwork from a medium-high postured position at the fielding window; played behind the ball until he got good reads, stayed high after fielding using a trusted glove hand off the middle of his body. Accurate 75 mph arm strength across the diamond from a repeatable, high ¾ slot.
