6/30/21

Physical: Thick, durable 5-foot-11, 175lb frame with strength carried. 7.36 runner in the 60-yard dash.

Offensively: RHH - Calm, rhythmic stance at shoulder-width as the barrel waved high to start. Utilized a short, controlled lift and replace stride to a wider attack, initiating through a flat, direct path showing good extension on the front-side. Hit into a strong, firm lead leg producing good sequencing en route to a loud T95 mph bat-exit velocity with impressive rotational scores. Notched a mainly pull-side approach for damage out over the plate, staying in the legs and working up the chain for a 354 foot batted ball distance and home run power on occasion. Mature hitter using a 44% fly ball rate (via Trackman) to accompany successful swings with backspin for extra-bases.

Defensively: The third baseman gained significant ground on the baseball, working over the toes with some pace and an accurate glove hand presented on-time, out in front. Got the hips turned in line and released from an easy, fluid H ¾ slot with natural arm talent (T86 mph across).

Defensively: Walks into ready; Athletic footwork playing low to the ground and through the ball with ability to make the play on the run with relative ease. Soft glove hand with clean transfers; able to vary arm action and release with the play.  INF - 78 MPH.
Pitching: Works from the stretch; builds momentum with a high leg lift before getting into back side as strides out down the line to a repeatable release and follow through to the glove side.
