6-foot-0 RHP with a thick build. It was a rare off day for Camarda--who led Long Island in wins with nine in 2016. He consistently throws strikes with his clean mechanics and a high 3/4 release. He has a true 12/6 curve ball that he can throw for strikes or locate out of the zone for strike outs. He is adept at locating his fastball on both sides of the plate--working in the 85-87 MPH range. He got into trouble on this afternoon with too many pitches up in the zone that went for hits. He also has a very advanced pick off move for a RHP--quick feet, hard and accurate throws to the bag
