Taveras stands in at 5-foot-10, 155-pounds. Ran a 7.47 – 60. Offensively- Shows a good trigger with level barrel path throughout the hitting zone. Utilizes good lower body rotation getting whole frame involved in the swing. Demonstrated line drive ability up the middle and to the opposite field side. Recorded an exit velocity of 77 MPH. Defensively- Shows good footwork and approach to the baseball. Clean funnel into the chest with a quick transition to the throwing position. Moves well left/right and in on the run and was accurate with throws. Recorded a positional arm velocity of 74 MPH.
