Strong, athletic 6-foot-3, 200 pound 1st baseman, who ran a 4.42 from home to 1st. Offensively- Big and strong, right-handed hitting first baseman who showed some promise with bat recording an exit velocity of 86 MPH. Has a toe-to-heel front foot movement and gets good separation with his hands getting into a strong launch position. Hands get a bit ahead of his rotation, which slows the bat a little, can definitely improve on the exit velocity if he can keep his hands behind his rotation. Showed good pop during batting practice Defensively- Showed above average athleticism around the bag for a kid his size. Approached ground balls aggressively, glove side, having good body control and able to move very well on 3-6-3 double-plays. Arm velocity across the diamond was recorded at 64 MPH.
