Gets into more athletic base at landing. Hands stay tight, compact to the body. Swing path shows some quickness. Barrel works down to the ball with low finish around front side. Cuts himself off a bit after contact, could get more extension from bottom hand. Maintains balance throughout swing. Defensively – Controlled, steady footwork in the OF. Stays behind ball, keeps momentum going while receiving with glove hand out front. Uses step behind shuffle to get more power behind throws. Long, loose arm action with ¾ release point. Pitching – Simple, repeatable delivery with clean throwing actions. Consistent tempo to wind-up. High leg lift with coil into back hip. Breaks hands over the rubber, keeps weight back while working down the slope. Slight knee bend in back leg while getting into stride.
