A 6-foot-1 lefty who can throw in the mid-80s, Dodrill was dominant against defending Class AA state champion Mamaroneck on April 7. He threw a two-hitter with one walk and no earned runs allowed, striking out 11. His changeup has improved and he also throws a curveball, but fastball location was the key. He’s also shown improvements offensively, including a deep homer over the right field fence at Mamaroneck.
