April 2018
6-foot-6, 190 pound 1B/RHP, Long frame with an athletic make-up. Watson is off to a fast start in seven games, he has hit 4 HR’s with 11 RBI.  He was held in check against Mamaroneck. On the hill, he is currently 1-1 after pitching 5 strong innings with 7 K’s vs. Ballston Spa.  Inconsistent in his second outing versus a strong Saratoga team, lasting only 3 innings and walking three and hitting two batters. Worked in the 84-86 MPH range from a standard ¾ arm slot on a cool/blustery day versus Saratoga. Plenty of upside present and his fastball will heat up along with the weather.

April 2017
Athletic, long and projectable right-handed at 6-foot-6 190 pounds. The frame will continue to fill out as he matures and the ceiling is high. Pitches out of a 3/4 slot, the direction to home is appropriate with his feet. The tracking of the front shoulder is excellent and he stays in his delivery. The fastball touched 89 mph, sat mostly 86-88 mph with arm side action to it. Showed plus control with his fastball, especially on glove side. The spin pitch is slurvy, sitting 74-76. The pitch is plus as he shows good hand speed to the pitch. Occasionally, the slot drops and he gets around it, but its a good one. The changeup is serviceable and will need to continue to improve for the next level. Showed 1.3 to the plate in the stretch as he uses a knee to knee delivery in the stretch. Good looking arm with a huge upside.
April 2016
6-foot-5 RHP who projects very well. Sat 79-81 mph with a clean-loose arm, whippy. Breaking pitch was slurvy, touching 71 with some side-to-side bite. Threw a complete-game for Columbia.
