Yourke is a lean 6-foot-2, 175-pound LHP/OF. He runs a 7.44 60. Offensively- Upright and open stance from the left side. Hands start just off of the back shoulder. Great separation during with good stride length. Hips and hands attack ball violently, and backside comes through very well. Great lift to swing, finishes with high one-handed finish, very athletic and it will be exciting to see what he has to offer at the next level. Exit velocity: 93 MPH. Defensively- Very active feet, attacks ball well. Momentum towards throw is very evident with long arm action. High-3/4 slot with a very impressive 91 MPH outfield arm velocity. Pitching- Starts in stretch, smooth chest high leg kick. Plant let points straight at the catcher with good arm action leading to a ¾ slot. Finishes on balance nicely on a stiff front side. FB: 85 MPH, solid arm side tail (81-85 consistently), CB: 67-70 MPH more like a slider with tight action.
