Physical: The Utica College commit stands a lean, athletic 5-foot-9, 150lbs. 7.54 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Wider, upright stance with the barrel waving in rhythm off the shoulder to begin. Utilized a directional lift and replace stride to initiate the bat head through a flat path into the zone allowing for above-average barrel awareness and a line drive approach during his batting practice round. Natural feel for the top hand, staying inside the ball and hitting for average at a clean rate; notched a T82 mph bat-exit velocity with singles power at the moment and put up top of the order type at-bats in game.
Defensively: The shortstop bounced around, getting to solid positions with a medium/lower posture at the fielding window and maintaining bend over the front side. Fielded accurately off the middle of his body, releasing after a glove tap from a shorter H ¾ slot (fluid, 78 mph arm).
Pitching: RHP - Began from the left side of the rubber out of the stretch-only. Some drop and drive in the delivery with high intent off the backside leg, creating good sequencing and a H ¾ slot. The FB entered at 80-82 mph with some carry to the plate at T2220rpms (via Trackman). Mixed in a sweeping 71-74 mph SL with punchout traits and ability to land for strikes in any count.
