Physical: Well put together, sturdy 5-foot-11, 205-pound frame with noticeable strength in the frame.
Offensively: RHH. Open, balanced with the hands starting rhythmically at the shoulder. Utilized a leg-lift stride coupled with minimal hand movement in the load allowing for a flat barrel path to enter the hitting zone through contact point. Showcased feel for a strong top hand while hitting into a stiff front side yielding hard barrels to the middle of the field. Could get handsy at times, but when the lower half led the swing the ball jumped off the bat towards both gaps. Recorded an 88 mph bat-exit velocity per Trackman Baseball during batting practice.
Defensively: The primary backstop was a solid receiver beating the ball to the spot with regularity with a soft glove hand. Pop times ranged from 2.06-2.12 on accurate throws of 74 mph from the crouch. Displayed quality straight line footwork with power getting up out of the crouch towards the target coupled with repeatability in the transfers yielding accurate throws on the bag out of a high ¾ slot with a moderate takeaway. Moved well laterally while blocking consistently beating the ball to the spot with downward chest angles. C - 74 mph
