Physical: Highly-athletic 5-foot-9, 165lb frame with efficient, seasoned movements. 6.76 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Narrow, slightly bent stance at an even position as the hands worked pre-set at the shoulder. Utilized a short lift and replace stride to the pitcher, initiating the bat head through a flat, twitchy path with a bunch of connection in the swing. Hit behind the ball extremely well producing a violent drive through extension, notching a T94 mph bat-exit velocity and carrying fly balls for big damage to the pull-side (350 foot batted ball distance via Trackman). Consistent barrel accuracy and a top of the order type, extra-base hit skill set with game-breaking abilities.
Defensively: The outfielder showcased centerfielder qualities, operating with above-average pace and feel for his body in space. Got the back foot in the ground on reads and went to get the baseball on a downhill attack, fielding off his left side. Corralled evenly, exchanging at the waist, and released from a loud high ¾ slot up to 91 mph arm strength (ability to handle all three OF positions).
Physical: 5-foot-8, 160-pounds. Lean, athletic frame.
Run: 6.99 runner in the 60.
Hit: RHH. Upright stance with slightly bent knees, hands start back even with shoulders, uses toe tap and small stride for timing Bat is quick through the zone, short, direct barrel path, could have better extension through contact, strong two-handed finish.
Power: 78 MPH raw exit velocity. Hard contact up the middle of the field.
Defense: OF: Approaches the ball low to the ground, fields the ball on his glove foot and uses a shuffle to release, INF: Smooth footwork fielding ball in middle of body, taps ball in glove before release, moves well laterally.
Arm: OF: Long arm swing with high 3/4 slot, INF: Long arm swing with 3/4 slot. INF - 83 MPH. OF - 84 MPH.
Impressive performance by the 2022 graduate at the Last Chance Event. Levin ran a 6.79 in the 60 yard dash. Offensively- the right handed hitter stands in the box in a tall stance. Displayed short simple load actions. Quick direct path to the baseball. Short compact swing. Stays balanced throughout the swing. Defensively, as an outfielder, Levin stays under control when approaching the baseball. Smooth exchange to a quick release from a high 3/4 arm slot. As an infielder, Levin displayed low effort actions when fielding the baseball. Takes his time to gather himself before making throws across the infield. Overall, Levin is a fast twitch player with potential. A plays to follow as he continues to develop.
