Physical: 6-foot-1, 150 pounds; Slender, wiry build. 7.21 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Open setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; flat bat to start. Short take back with the hands with a moderate leg kick for timing. Slides weight forward pre-contact. while showing an aggressive lower half. Showed a flat swing path with a one-handed finish. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 89 MPH via Trackman. Above average hand speed with a flat barrel path producing line drives.
Defensively: Starts with a balanced setup; uses prep step while showing active feet. Hands are underneath the body with a clean transfer. Short take back from a low 3/4 arm slot. INF - 80 MPH. Feet remain active, clean transfers with good velo off a short take back.
Pitching: Uses a center rubber setup while using an angled drop step. Belt high leg drive with shoulders above the hips. Has a moderate stride while landing closed. Moderate arm swing while showing some scap load; standard 3/4 slot. Spins off 1B side with finish. FB: Peak velo of 82 MPH, while sitting 78-82 MPH; arm side run. CB: 74-75 MPH; 2-8 shape. SL: 70-72 MPH; lateral action. OTHER: CT: 76-78 MPH; late lateral action. Consistently plus IVB on the curveball with flashes of plus horizontal. Commanded the slider well with plus spin and good lateral movement.

Stays behind the ball while showing an average effort from the legs. Showed a slight lift to the ball with a late one hand finish. More flyballs than line drives and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 83 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; walks into a ready position while playing low to the ground. Hands are out in front while funnelling to the hip before transfer. Moderate arm circle from a high 3/4 arm slot. INF - 80 MPH.
Pitching: Schlagler uses a glove side setup while using a side step. Belt high leg drive with shoulders above the hips. Has a moderate stride landing inline with the plate. Moderate arm swing while demonstrating segmented stop and go action, while working through a high 3/4 slot. Upright with finish. FB: Peak velo of 84 MPH, while sitting 79-81 MPH; plays up in the zone. CB: 63-66 MPH; showed depth. CH: 71-72 MPH; fading action.
