ENY ASG (September 15, 2018)
5-foot-11, 170-pounds with an athletic build and lean frame. Ran a 7.08 60 Yard Dash. Offensively - Athletic set-up in the box. Slightly open stance to the pitcher. Leg lift to load and create separation. Compact swing with quick hands. Barrel works in a direct path to the ball. Stayed in the middle of the field with line drive contact during BP. Utilizes core/hip rotation effectively. Quick bat with feel for the barrel. Exit Velocity was 88 MPH. Defensively - Fundamentally sound defensive actions. Stays balanced while moving laterally. High 3/4 release point with fluid arm action. Transitions from fielding into throwing with smooth, controlled tempo. Arm strength was 78 MPH. Pitching - Athletic delivery with smooth, low effort throwing actions. Gets balanced at leg lift and uses glove tap for timing. Shows consistent direction towards target. Arm action is quick and compact. Ball gets on the hitters quickly. FB was 79-80 MPH and peaked at 81. Also featured tight breaking ball at 67-69 MPH. With more development, breaking ball projects to be an above average pitch
