Physical: 5-foot-7, 155 pounds; lean, athletic build. 7.22 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. upright, slightly open stance with hands starting down in front of the body; gains ground with a toe tap stride while hands load back and up . Aggressive lower half into a stiff front side with quick into the zone with .15 seconds to contact using a 15 degree attack angle and an on plane efficiency of 81%. Good feel for the barrel with gap to gap pop; peak Trackman exit velocity of 90 MPH.
Defensively: Uses prep step; athletic, easy actions moving well laterally. Soft glove fielding the ball out in front with clean transfers; short quick arm action with the ability to vary the release on accurate throws. INF - 83 MPH.
Campus Series - Marist (July 17, 2018)
5-foot-6, 137-pounds. Lean build. Offensively - Athletic set up with weight shifted into back hip. Feet square to the pitcher. Uses toe tap before getting into forward stride. Loose hands/wrists in swing. Keeps barrel behind the ball. High, one-handed finish. Exit velocity was 79 MPH. Defensively - Quick and efficient actions when fielding. Shows body control and ability to adjust tempo. ¾ release point with quick arm action on throws. Exchanges ball cleanly. Arm strength was 75 MPH.
