Lewis stands 6-foot-3 with a long wiry frame. The Coppin State commit threw a gem against WSW. FB sat 82-86 MPH, CB was 71-mph with late break and slurve like movement as he comes from a slightly below ¾ slot. Change-up was also on and consistent at 75-mph. With good movement on all pitches, Lewis shows good potential at the next level if he’s able to command all 3 pitches he’ll be tough to hit.
April 2016
Lewis stands a wiry 6-foot-3 inches at least with a funky, deceptive delivery that kept hitters off balance all afternoon. Early is his outing Lewis was 81-83mph and touched 85 MPH. To go with it he had a 69-71mph CB which he commanded, but it was a + CU that got him out of a few jams. CU was 77mph with good sink and deception.
New York Games (July 7-9, 2015)
Has an athletic-wiry build on the mound. His deliver is fast but controlled, balanced over the rubber. Arm action is clean-long, throws from a mid-low-3/4 slot. Fastball sat 80-82 mph with above average arm-side sink. Shows a curveball that sat 72 mph but had trouble locating, spin was sharp at times. Definitely a gamer on the mound and throws his fastball to contact.
