Pitching: Drop step with hesitation before driving knee up above the waist, gets glove arm up high as drives out in line finishing with intent. long arm action with slight hitch before accelerating through a 3/4 release. FB: T 87 MPH, 85-86 MPH. Comes out of the hand with life and has ride through the zone; avg. spin 2151 RPM, avg vert. mov. 18in & avg horz. mov. 4.7in. CB: 69-70 MPH. CH: 75-77 MPH.

Jake Halloran has a lean 5-foot-9, 135 pounds frame. Up tempo motion with intent FB (peaked 79 MPH). High spin rate fastball, that generated a lot of swings and misses up in the zone.  Tons of velocity left in the tank. A shortened arm action in the back, would aid in velocity enhancement and in the repeatability of his off speed. Overall athlete, and intriguing 2021 arm. 

Jake has an athletic and long frame standing at 5’9, 135lbs. During the workout, Jake has showcased quick twitch movements in the field, in the batter’s box, and on the mound. He stands with an athletic base and uses his stride as a timing mechanism in his load. Smooth athletic actions in his swing and keeps a flat barrel angle through the hitting zone. Good strength for size and that will only improve. He recorded an exit velocity of 75 mph. Jake is a super athletic INF that can play multiple positions around the diamond. He possesses a smooth fielding approach and quick actions with his transfer. Good body control and quick footwork moving side to side. Short quick arm slot recorded an impressive velocity of 83 mph across the diamond.
