Physical: 6-foot-0, 188 pounds; long, lanky frame. 8.16 runner in the 60.
Offensively: LHH. Even stance with high hands and a small weight shift onto back leg; leg kick with weight still loaded on back leg, hands work down through this process. Limited use of lower half, sometimes creeping forward through contact with uphill swing from hands working into a low position on load, high finish. Sprayed line drives up the middle and to pull side gap, hit some ground balls down the right field line too; peak Trackman exit velocity of 85 MPH.
Defensively: Popped off the bag well with some tentative steps toward the ball; let the ball travel to him with a quick glove side turn and throw on the double play. Fields out in front and works a smooth transfer to throw; quick , whippy actions from a low 3/4 slot. INF - 73 MPH.
Pitching: Good tempo into windup, uses a "tall and fall" type leg drive down the slope, throwing off front foot. Extremely loose, whippy arm action with an over the top arm slot. FB: T 76MPH, 72-76 MPH. Fastball has good carry to it through the top of the zone. CB: 64-65 MPH. Tall, falling curveball that could be a quality pitch early in the count to drop into the zone. CH: 68-69 MPH. Kills spin on the changeup but not much velocity. Could be a valuable pitch if thrown with a larger velo gap than, but same arm action as FB.
