Joyce is roughly 6-foot-2 with a strong build as he is also a very highly-regarded safety for the Long Island Champion football team. He played a tremendous third base, making all the routine plays and also the difficult plays--showing his ability to both charge the slow roller as well as back-handed and making a strong throw across the diamond. All his throws were right on target. At the plate, he smacked two double to deep right center field just missing home runs twice. He had very good bat speed, and showed his ability to sit back on the breaking ball and drive the ball. The reigning Class A Player of the Year is a complete all-around player.

Athletic build standing 6-foot-2, 205-pounds with signs of strength and power. Hits from a spread stance with quiet timing mechanisms, dropping down through his legs and getting on a level plane at contact. Can generate some juice with limited actions. On the bump he sits mid-to-upper 80's (topped 89 last summer) working from a 3/4 arm slot; breaking ball has more of a slider feel, with late down action. Special player that's headed to Hofstra after his senior year.
