Physical: Strong, uber-athletic 6-foot, 190lb frame with advanced feel. 7.14 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Crouched, lower postured stance with the hands operating lower and deeper at the shoulder to start. Utilized a gather load creating some stretch before launching through a flat, extended path into the hitting zone. Highly efficient swing, using the intent out in front where it belongs, producing a loud 99 mph bat-exit velocity for multiple pull-side home runs during batting practice. Gets a lot out of the lower half, staying over the rear hip and working into a stiff/sturdy front-side at impact. Notched a 350+ foot batted ball distance, adding a 40% line drive rate and the chance to hit for some AVG down the road too.
Defensively: The primary outfielder stayed behind the ball with natural reads and feel for his body in space. Gathered cleanly off the left side, exchanging in rhythm to a lengthy H ¾ slot at release (89 mph arm, corner OF projection; RF). The shortstop approached from right to left, rounding the ball off with downward momentum and got rid with a quicker pace (81 mph arm).
Pitching: RHP - Started from the far left side of the rubber slightly sideways, offset. Adequate pace and a pause at the side rocker, getting down the slope with intent through a H ¾ slot. The FB landed 81-83 mph at a 56% clip, mixing a sharp, swing/miss 67-69 mph SL at T2247rpms.
Pitching: Builds momentum well with a side step into a leg kick and turn, drives down in line getting quality hip-shoulder separation at foot strike accelerating the arm through release over a strong post leg; long arm action through a high, power 3/4 slot. FB: Life out of the hand with advanced ride (20.5" IVB) through the zone. CB: Sharp 11-5 shape with depth, up to 14" vertical drop and 16.5" horizontal movement. CH: A bit firm but with quality arm side fade up to 19:"
Physical: 6’ 190lb IF ran a 7.37 laser timed 60-yard dash. Strong frame has solid athleticism and movements that will only improve in time.
Offensively: He starts with a wide base, with his knees pointing inward to begin a pre-pitch load. His hands are resting on the shoulder before having a short load back as his front foot strides out to begin the timing mechanism. His barrel works flat through the zone and he creates good leverage between his upper and lower body.
Defensively: Displays active footwork when approaching the ball and creating a good direction on his throws. His hands stay in front of his body and naturally angles his glove in a good position to receive the ball consistently. His arm works quick and whippy from different arm angles depending on the play.
