Physical: Athletic, proportional 5-foot-11, 160lb frame with some projection. 7.03 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Balanced, slightly open stance with bent knees and the hands operating just above the shoulder to start. Utilized a short lift and replace stride to initiate the bat head through a flat, rotational path into the hitting zone. High intent at extension, able to whip through the baseball en route to zero ground balls during his batting practice round. Kept it in the air with a lofty approach all over the middle of the field, staying short and backspinning up to 307 foot batted ball distance at his peak. Notched a T87 mph bat-exit velocity and 67% fly ball rate (via Trackman).
Defensively: The backstop received quietly from a traditional stance, as pop times ranged from 2.00-2.09 with immediate transfers and a clean move over the front-side through the plate at release (H ¾ slot, 77 mph arm, accurate). Then moved over to third base, skipping around with choppy, fluid feet and a slightly attacking pace. Fielded cleanly and exchanged to the throwing ear for a quicker release (80 mph arm).
Pitching: RHP - Started off the middle of the rubber with a compact delivery, holding some pace and repeatability into footstrike. Shorter, H ¾ slot with a later takeaway, hiding the baseball at 77-79 mph for strikes down in the zone. Mixed a commanded 69-71 mph SL with short, sweeping action on a gradual tilt.
Physical: Lean, athletic 5-foot-11, 160 lb build
Pitching: Works with good pace; has a coil at leg lift before getting into back side as strides long down the mound, efficient lower half generating torque against a strong post leg with a high leg lift follow through; arm action is clean staying connected out of the glove, works through a natural 3/4 release. FB: Good command working down through the zone with a heavy feel to it.
