A lean 5-foot-11, 145 pounds. Ran a 7.51 60 yard dash during the workout. Offensively- works from an open stance in the box. Bat rests on the shoulder, short load and stride towards the pitcher before attacking the baseball. Stays quiet throughout the swing, slight lift at the point of contact. Good use of the lower half. Top exit velocity was 79 MPH. Defensively- the SS displayed active footwork during the infield portion. Has a bounce to his step. Smooth exchange to a quick release on throws across the infield. Throws from a mid ¾ arm slot. Top throwing velocity was 75 MPH.

Tall athletic frame, with plenty of room for physical growth. In the field, Haney takes control of the middle. He shows confidence with throwing from deep in the hole and has a strong arm. He charges the ball well and reads hops, with a quick glove transfer. From the right side of the plate, he shows his strength. With a leg kick to get his timing on the pitch, he explodes with his lower half and shows power going opposite field. Made some impressive, ranging plays on Saturday at Cortland.
