Physical: Athletic, compact 5-foot-11, 165lb frame with even proportions. 6.83 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Balanced, even stance flashing a slight bend in the knees to start; utilized a high leg lift to initiate the bat head through a whippy, flat path with quick, sudden turns into the hitting zone. Featured above-average adjustability in the box, staying stacked over the backside and using proper sequencing in the lower half. Notched a 60% fly ball rate with great success when thrown above the belt, for extra base hits (310 foot batted ball distance via Trackman). A 90 mph bat-exit velocity and the ability to handle the inner half played advantageously during a solid round with doubles power.
Defensively: The primary shortstop moved athletically in either direction from medium/lower posture. Showcased natural route awareness, playing right to left downward through the fielding window with a soft glove hand presented out in front; fielded cleanly and released after a shuffle to the target (H ¾ slot, 81 mph, held pace).
5-foot-11, 165-pound athletic lean build. Advanced at the plate, the right-handed hitter's 90 mph exit velocity ranks him 3rd at the event. (67.62 mph bat speed average). (20.92 mph hand speed average). Began in an open athletic stance with a smooth controlled load, then used a leg kick. Bat speed was electric, showed a short upward swing plane and high finish.Found lots of barrels with tons of loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Advanced in the infield, his best throw was recorded at 78 mph; has quick fluid feet, next level hands, and a twitchy exchange. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Used a short arm action and a ¾ slot while showing consistent accuracy to the base. The athletic recruit showcased his speed with a sub-seven 60time of 6.76.
