Lubchuk is a 5-foot-6 140 pound 2B who ran a 8.00 60. Offensively- Open, narrow stance with front heel off the ground to start. Slight take back of the hands as the barrel starts to level out pre-commitment; stays behind the ball with some lower half effort present. Sweeps through the zone staying on plane with the ball. Elevated 2-handed finish with flyball results. Exit velocity off the tee peaked at 65 MPH. Defensively- Tentative approach; stays squared up to the ball and low to the ground. Will need to be more assertive on approach and stay active through his footwork into his throw. Arm strength was at 65 MPH for the young infielder and has time to develop.
