Offensively: RHH. Bent at the knees, feet shoulders width apart, strong base, hands above shoulder with little movement, head says down on the ball Level barrel path, gets the barrel on the ball, hands get through the zone quickly, consistent strong contact. Potential power pull-side, consistent line drives. 84 MPH raw exit velocity.
Defensively: 2.22-2.31 pop times. C: low stance, good glove work, above average ball transition, quick feet gaining ground towards second, accurate throws around the bag. INF: Upright setup, choppy steps with a low to the ground fielding position; shuffles before transfer of the ball creating a slight delay. C: Long arm swing, mid 3/4 arm slot INF: moderate arm swing with 3/4 slot. C - 73 MPH. INF - 72 MPH.
Displayed feel for a solid 5-foot-10, 175-pound frame with some strength. The right-handed hitter starts with a bent, even stance utilizing a quick lift-and-replace stride with present sink. Hands start on the shoulder and “wiggle” into load position at the shoulder. Demonstrated a line drive approach during batting practice with feel for a strong lower half. Registered an 80 mph bat-exit velocity while finding consistent barrels. Showcased average footwork during defensive evaluations while arriving to the ball on time. A soft glove hand and adequate transfers allowed for accurate 71 mph throws across the infield.
