6-foot, 175-pound, average athletic frame, showing room for added weight gains. A right-handed hitting two-way player, at the plate, has a taller setup, even feet, relaxed loaded hands at the shoulders. The swing is short to contact, level path, hands are inside the baseball, line drive approach to the middle part of the field. Took a solid batting practice, had an exit 89 mph. Stays through the baseball, rolls hands late. Defensively, good actions, moves well, hands are soft and work out front. Showed real good starts and turns from shortstop side of the bag. The arm works freely, working from a natural slot, clocked at 78 mph, showing carry across the diamond. Off the mound, pounds the zone with a two-pitch mix, fastball in the mid 70's, along with curveball at 64 mph. The delivery is smooth, glides out, on time on foot strike. Showing, minimal pull with front side, a strike thrower. Projects for me more as a position player.
