5-foot-8, 190-pound, strong, thick, durable athletic frame. Already filling out, showing strength throughout. A right-handed hitting catcher, showing a quick, strong arm behind the plate. The arm was clocked at 74 mph, had a pop time of 2.31-2.38, arm is clean and whippy. The setup is wider, gains ground in the transfer, closes down the front side. The arm has recoil to it, could finish it more. At the plate, a wider open stance, higher hand set, with tilt and flick to the barrel in the loaded position. The swing is flat through the zone, a level path, finish with one hand at shoulder height. The approach is middle of the field, creates backspin to the baseball, with a tee exit velocity of 82 mph. Took a solid round of batting practice, consistently making hard contact. Continued overall conditioning will aid in his development.
