Physical: 5-foot-10, 175 pounds; Athletic, wiry build. 7.14 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet narrow; upright bat position. Loads straight back with an up and down stride for timing. Drifts into contact while showing an average effort from the legs. Showed a direct swing path with a two handed finish. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 89 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with a low to the ground setup; uses prep hop while active feet. Hands are soft with a seamless transfer. Moderate arm circle from a low 3/4 arm slot. INF - 75 MPH.
Pitching: De Sena uses a glove side setup while using a side step. Mid chest leg drive with a slight lean over the belt. Has aShort stride landing inline with the plate. Short take back while arm stays in line with 2B, while working through a standard 3/4 slot. Upright with finish. FB: Peak velo of 80 MPH, while sitting 76-78 MPH; life through the zone.
