A lean athletic 5-foot-9, 150 pounds. Offensively- the right handed hitter stands in the box in a tall stance. Uses slight toe tap from timing and balances before attacking the hitting zone. Displayed hard consistent contact during batting practice. Casale does a good job using his lower half. Defensively- the catcher displayed active footwork. Above average exchange to a high ¾ arm slot. Casale has a quick release. Top pop time was 2.23 and velocity was 74 MPH.

Athletic, projectable frame with lean build at 5-foot-8, 140-pounds. Offensively – Sets up in wide, balanced stance with slight knee bend in posture. Hovers on backside with controlled leg lift before taking short, forward stride. Hands show rhythm and loose actions throughout load. Barrel works down to the ball with some quickness. Loose, one-handed finish after contact. Maintains balance throughout. Defensively – Presents consistent target behind the plate. Hips get low while upper body stays tall. Comes out of crouch quickly to get feet aligned with 2b. High exchange before getting into ¾ release point. Clean, compact arm action. Backside comes thru on all throws.
