The swing is flat through the zone, gets extension, stays through the baseball. The hands are inside the baseball, looking to drive it from field to field. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 83 mph and ran a 4.91 on a dig to first base. Defensively, is advanced hands are soft and strong, gets around the pitch and secures it well for a strike. The block and scramble are quick and anticipates well. The arm was clocked at 76 mph, works with easy effort out of a natural slot, had a pop time of 1.98-2.01. All throws were on the bag. In game catching was advanced, pitchers seemed to be comfortable throwing to him. Look for him to catch at the next level.
