Physical: Long-armed, athletic 5-foot-11, 175lb frame with additional strength coming. 7.62 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Crouched, balanced stance with pre-pitch rhythm found. Utilized a leg lift stride to initiate the bat head through a quick, flat and rotational path into the hitting zone. Worked towards a whippy, deep finish, producing a heavy fly ball barrage during his round (38% fly ball rate via Trackman). Showed off mostly singles juice at the moment, notching a T86 mph bat-exit velocity at his peak (271 foot batted ball distance). Handled the inner half with tight turns, pulling the hands in accurately.
Defensively: The primary backstop featured above-average defense actions. Soft glove hand when receiving out of a strong, balanced crouch (low posture). Pop times ranged from 1.94-2.02, accelerating through the ball with fast, replaceable feet using momentum at release (H ¾ slot, 79 mph arm, carry to the bag).
Physical: 5-foot-10, 162 pounds; athletic frame with potential to fill out. 7.7 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Relaxed, upright stance with feet slightly wider than his shoulders; Loads his hands back along with a small leg lift. Aggressive with short, direct barrel path staying in the zone a long time. Hard pull side contact; peak Trackman exit velocity of 87 MPH.
Defensively: Low, wide base; Powers out of the crouch immediately gaining ground on his target. Soft hands, beats balls to the spot to pull them in for strikes; long arm swing with a 3/4 arm slot. 1.96-2.03 pop times. C - 76 MPH.
Pitching: Sets up in the middle of the rubber and drop steps into simple, repeatable motions and gets into an athletic position as he drives off the mound. Short take back with a high 3/4 arm slot. FB: Peak velo of 80 MPH, while sitting 75-80 MPH. Shows natural cut. CB: 63-69 MPH. Sharp 11-5 break.
