Physical: Athletic, well proportioned 5-foot-9, 155lb frame with likeable traits. 7.49 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Upright, even stance as the hands operated low at the shoulder to start (high elbow). Utilized a short up/down stride initiating the swing through a flat, medium-effort path into the hitting zone. Generated a consistent middle of the order approach during his batting practice round able to control the bat head at a high rate (50% line drive rate via Trackman). Showed the ability to hit for some juice too, working up to a near 330 foot batted ball distance with natural efficiency at the plate (T88 mph bat-exit velocity at his peak).
Defensively: The primary shortstop showcased a fast first step with rangy actions and beat the ball to the spot, fielding with a soft glove hand off the middle/left side of his body. Quick release after funneling, wasting no time in getting rid from a direct, H ¾ slot (77 mph arm, pace plays).
