Martinez has an athletic 5-foot-7 140 pound build. He ran a 7.45 60 and a 4.15 home-to-1B from the left side. Offensively- Sets up shoulder width apart with an elevated front shoulder; stride shifts weight forward as hands stay even with back shoulder. Chopping action down into the zone with swing path; pull side line drives with a mix of groundballs. Defensively- Stays behind the ball well; long arm action from a high 3/4 slot; throws tend run arm side. Peak velocity was 68 MPH. Pitching- Repeats delivery on the mound with a long arm action that features some coil on the upswing. FB ranged 70-72 with occasional arm side run; 1-to-7 shape to CB at 58-61 MPH.
