OF Pat DeMarco (Poly Prep Country Day, NY) stands 5-foot-10, 205-pounds and shows an extremely powerful lower half, quick aggressive hands, with above average hand-eye-coordination. At the plate his approach is wide, athletic, with hands high. He stay short to the ball, barrel fairly level through contact with extension out in front. He continues to show above-average consistency with the bat at a high-level. He is also a running back / Linebacker for the Poly Prep Country Day football program, where he shows impressive power and agility. Very interesting prospect to keep an eye on.

8-15-2018: A former prep football linebacker and running back, DeMarco is built like one at five-foot-ten, 200 pounds. He also plays with a football type of intensity and grinds it out. With a powerful lower half, he is more quick than fast, running in the 4.3s down the line while showing good instincts, stealing ten bases in 13 attempts. Showed an aggressive hit approach, walking just nine times in 180 plate appearances this summer. Displayed strong hands with a compact, line drive swing. Consistently got into a well-balanced hitting position with his hands back and hitting against a firm front side. Used all fields as he hit the ball where it was pitched. Showed average raw power in batting practice and a fringe average arm in pregame. As an older college sophomore, DeMarco is eligible for the 2019 draft. (Seifert)
