Physical: 5-foot-10, 135 pounds; long limbed, wiry frame.
Pitching: Works up tempo with balance throughout delivery; high leg lift before getting into back side as glides out in line to a repeatable release and follow through. long, fluid arm action to a low 3/4 slot . FB: T 79MPH, 76-79 MPH. Life out of the hand with a Bauer Unit of 29 (MLB avg 24); advanced ride (max 20.9 inches) and arm side run (22.4 inches) through the zone. CB: 71-72 MPH. sharp, tight break with 11-5 shape; vertical drop up to 4 inches and up to 2 inches horizontal movement. CH: 74-75 MPH. good hand speed with arm side run up to 21 inches .
Physical: 5-foot-10, 135-pounds. Wiry frame with room to add weight.
Pitching Delivery: Steady pace, gets knee up high, sits in back leg on stride out into an easy, repeatable delivery.
Arm Action: Long, whippy arm action; pulling back out of the glove to a side arm release.
FB: T78, 75-78 MPH. Arm side run.
CB: 69-71 MPH. 11-5 shape, tight break.
CH: 75-76 MPH. firm with arm side fade.
The right handed pitcher displayed a repeatable delivery during his bullpen session at the Last Chance Preview. Doyle works into a strong balanced backside before working down hill with low effort and whippy arm action. Doyle peaked with a 78 MPH FB. CB range was 69-71 and feel for a CH at 73-74 MPH.
