6/08/19

6-foot, 173-pound, strong athletic frame. A wiry frame, sloped shoulders strength throughout, put together well. A left-handed hitter outfielder, top tool is his ability to swing the bat. At the plate, starts open, hands are loose at the shoulders. The swing is down to level to up. The approach is more from field to field, has feel for going the other way. The bat speed and tee exit velocity is advanced, clocked at 99 mph. Runs well, ran a 7.01 sixty-yard dash. Defensively, threw 78 mph, projects out to play left-field. Showed solid routes and angles, gains ground on footwork during the transfer. Look for him to hit a high level, big follow.

9.19.18

6-foot, 170-pound, strong, fast twitch athlete, put together, shows to have strength throughout. A left-handed hitting outfielder, top tool is his bat, has a chance to hit at a high level. The stance is balanced throughout, feet are even, slightly wider than shoulder width. For timing uses a knee to knee kick, its smooth, gets loaded up on the back side, gains a good amount of distance with stride foot. The hands start just below shoulders, they have separation from body, with bat having tilt to it in the loaded position. The swing path is down to level to up, more of a pull approach, hard contact during batting practice. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 88 mph and ran a 7.09, a long strider, easy kick on the back. Defensively, arm was clocked at 78 mph, arm action is short and clean on the backside, working out of a high ¾ slot. Throws were on target, receiver was able to handle it, used more of a shuffle for footwork and transfer. Potential to really hit at the next level, good follow.
