 Right-hander pitched out of an over-the-top slot with a fastball at 79-80 and a curveball that was inconsistent, but flashed solid 12/6 action at 64-66.

New York Games (June 27-29, 2016)

Stands 6-foot-2, 210-pounds with a strong athletic frame. Offensively- Set ups with a balanced base and uses a soft forward stride. Bat has little tilt pointing upwards but levels out throughout the zone. Bat speed is above average with 94-mph exit speed. He also ran a 7.17 60. Defensively- Upright setup at 1B; choppy feet off the bag; softhands out in front with a consistent transfer. More then adequate arm at 1B; 77 MPH across to 3B during workout. Foot speed and arm strength would allow for move to corner OF if needed. Pitching- On the mound his velocity has fluctuated anywhere from 79-mph up to 86-mph at times, sitting 78-80 MPH at NY Games. He bends his post leg early in the delivery and works aggressively down hill, pulling hard off of his glove side too early at times causing some erratic command. The natural arm strength is above average and current strength and athletic ability show a lot of promise for his future on the mound with added work.
