Preseason All-State (February 28, 2016)
Coming off an ACL injury, Enos is starting to show some serious tools that should take shape over the next two seasons. Built strong and compact standing 5-foot-9, 175-pounds, much like a running back, Enos has a chance to be very good. Offensively - Simple approach with his hands loose around his head area. On the pitch he uses a back load, heel-lift for timing. Very short path to the ball with strong hands (86 mph exit velocity), aggressive to his pull-side with some power, barrel is level at contact with lift through extension. Pretty balanced lower half through the swing. Defensively - Smooth active lower half with proper footwork, fields the ball out in front, clean quick transfer, throws from high-3/4 slot with good arm strength at 82 mph with evidence of more velocity. Enos has also shown we is a valuable asset on the mound with the ability to throw two pitches for strikes. We will again see him for the CNY team in the 2016 New York State Games where he will be on full-display.
