Physical: 6’1 200lb C/3B ran a. 8.49 laser timed 60-yard dash.Strong frame has natural strength with room to improve foot speed.
Offensively: He starts in a relaxed stance with his hands positioned right near his back arm pit in a power position. He uses a slow, early, and controlled leg lift as his hands pull back to create separation between his upper and lower half. His barrel works uphill as he gets his hands above the ball, allowing the barrel to follow through into the hitting zone.
Defensively: He receives from a traditional squatted stance with some natural glove rhythm timing up the pitch in the zone. Gets a little bit taller when it comes time to catch and throw to bases. His glove to hand transfer is clean and he uses a lot of arm to make throws to bases.
